Aerial photography services are specialized, but that doesn't mean you should have to take out a loan for a few pictures.
I charge a base fee of $50. This covers the most basic expenses of setting up an appointment and functions as a non-refundable deposit, but is charged alongside any other fees.
The price increases in increments of $50-$100 as follows:
Photo capture (4-6 photos)*: $50
Photo editing: $50
Video capture (3-5 clips, placed into 20-30 second video)*: $100
Video editing: $100
Travel fee: increments of $25 for every 30 minutes of travel (approximately; includes travel to and from location; non-refundable once travel has taken place)
Self-edit fee (videos only): $50. *This is used if you decide to edit your own videos, and only want the raw files sent to you. This option is not recommended unless you are familiar with D-Log video format.
Your quote will be itemized in your invoice. I am always happy to negotiate and explain my prices.
*If you require more pictures, more video clips, or a longer video, prices will increase accordingly. Note that both the capture price and the editing price will increase.
Yes, yes it does. Gas is the second most expensive commodity I use for my shoots, right behind the time I spend planning, traveling, and editing. I must charge accordingly. I am based in Rexburg, and charge roughly $25 for every half hour I spend traveling, which includes travel both to and from a location.
For example, if I am photographing your house which is 15 minutes from Rexburg, I will charge a $25 travel fee since I will spend a total of 30 minutes driving.
Depending on how much content you want, a session can range from minutes to hours. I would be happy to provide an estimate as part of a larger conversation about what you are looking to gain from my services. Rest assured, in most cases I can operate independently and the duration of my flights will have little to no impact on your schedule.
Your pictures and videos ("deliverables") will be provided within 5-7 days of the shoot. If we happen to work on a very large project, this can be extended at my discretion. If you want your deliverables sooner, I charge an additional $50 for delivery within 48 hours. This may be denied at my discretion, particularly for large projects.
Unless you request otherwise, deliverables will be placed into a shared Dropbox folder which will remain open for no less than 30 days after delivery.
Deliverables will not be made available until your invoice is paid in full. I am happy to provide watermarked samples upon request as proof of completion.
I will send an invoice through Stripe, which will allow you to use whatever card you like. I can also arrange for cash payments or even Venmo if notified in advance, but will NOT accept checks or any other app-based payment.
In all cases, the $50 base charge in non-refundable.
In all cases, travel fees are non-refundable as soon as I have arrived on location OR as soon as I have traveled 15 minutes, whichever comes first.
Once photography or videography has been performed for your project, you are responsible for payment. If you decide to cancel or no longer wish to pay after content has been captured, you will not receive the pictures and videos. In this scenario, you will still be charged the $50 base fee plus any applicable travel charges as specified on your invoice.
